About us
About Los Concrete Contractors
We're a concrete crew working in Los Angeles, California. Flatwork and structural concrete for homeowners, property managers and small commercial sites — done in the order that actually matters.
Our approach
Concrete is a prep trade
Everyone judges concrete by the finish, but the finish is the last hour of the job. The parts that determine whether a slab still looks good years from now happen before anything gets poured: what’s under it, how thick it is, what’s inside it, where the joints fall and which way the water runs.
That’s the part we don’t rush and don’t hide. When we hand you a scope, the prep is spelled out — excavation depth, base, compaction, reinforcement, thickness, joint spacing and finish.
What you can expect from us
- A real phone conversation before anyone comes out — no form, no email drip, no chat bot.
- A site visit where we look at drainage and existing concrete, not just measure square footage.
- A written scope in plain language, including what is excluded.
- A straight answer when repair is the right call, and a straight answer when it isn't.
- Clean-up and haul-off treated as part of the job, not an afterthought.
- Clear direction on when to walk on, drive on and care for the finished slab.

Residential and commercial
Driveways, patios, walkways, foundations and decorative work for homes, plus sidewalks, path-of-travel repairs, pads and light-industrial slabs for commercial properties.
How the work goes
Our process, start to finish
- 01
Phone conversation
You call, we ask what the slab is doing, how the space is used and what access looks like. Photos help. No form to fill out.
- 02
On-site look
We walk the area, check drainage, subgrade and existing concrete, and confirm measurements and elevations.
- 03
Written scope
You get the scope in writing: dimensions, thickness, reinforcement, finish, joint layout and what's excluded.
- 04
Prep and forming
Demolition and haul-off, grading and compaction, base rock, forms, reinforcement — the part that determines the outcome.
- 05
Pour and finish
Placement, screeding, floating, the finish you chose, and joints cut or tooled where they belong.
- 06
Cure and walkthrough
We tell you when to stay off it, when vehicles can return, and we walk the finished work with you.
Straight talk
Things we’d rather say up front
All concrete cracks
The job is controlling where. Joint layout, panel size, reinforcement and compaction decide whether cracking is a straight line you barely notice or a problem across the middle.
New won't match old
Color and texture on a fresh pour will differ from a slab that's weathered LA sun for years. We design the transition instead of pretending it won't show.
Timelines depend on weather
Heat, wind and rain all move pour dates and cure times. We'd rather reschedule a pour than finish a slab in conditions that hurt it.
